The Thames Estuary Partnership's Annual Forum

The Thames Estuary Partnership's (TEP) Annual Forum "Engineering the Thames" will take place on Thursday 16th October 2008 and will provide an opportunity to celebrate the major River Thames related engineering projects happening this year. These include:

  • London Gateway, the largest new port in the UK
  • The Thames Tideway Tunnel, the largest such engineering project  ever undertaken in the UK
  • The Thames Desalination Plant, the first in London

The TEP Forum is a great opportunity to engage with over 200 River Thames stakeholders and will be held at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London.

The Thames Estuary Partnership is a registered charity which brings together as diverse a mix of people and organisations as possible who all share a concern for the Thames and its estuary. It provides a neutral forum for local authorities, national agencies, industry, voluntary bodies and local communities to work together for the good of the Thames Estuary,  provides a framework for its management, co-ordinates a programme of projects, facilitates new projects and forums for joint working, holds regular events and workshops and seeks to further the interests of local communities, local economy and the environment.
